Jochen Pierk is an Associate Professor in Financial Accounting at Erasmus University Rotterdam. He earned his Ph.D. at Humboldt University Berlin and was a visiting Ph.D. student at the University of Michigan and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a Vienna University of Economics and Business faculty member in 2015/2016. He has published in Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting and Business Research, and Journal of International Business Studies. His research interests are in the areas of financial accounting and taxation.
