Virginia Vannucci is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the University of Bologna, Italy. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Administration and Management from the University of Pisa. She spent a visiting period at Middlesex University (London, UK) in 2017-2018.

Before joining the University of Bologna, she worked as a junior assistant professor of marketing at the University of Verona from 2020 to 2022. Previously, she was a post-doc research fellow at the University of Florence from 2018 to 2020.

Her research interests revolve around the marketing discipline and deal especially with retail marketing, digital technologies (VR, blockchain, chatbot, etc.), innovation, branding, and privacy issues. Her articles have been published in international journals such as Journal of Retailing, Journal of Business Research, Computers in Human Behavior, Information Technology and People, and Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, among others.

The seminar is held in English.
