The Department of Management wins 2 prizes out of 4.

The International Accounting & Finance Doctoral Symposium 2022 was held in Athens from 5 to 7 June 2022, on the development of research skills and competencies of Ph.D. students in Accounting, Finance, and Banking.

Universities and Business Schools from all over the world participated in the event, including the University of Bologna. 

Four prizes were planned for the Ph.D. students in the competition: Valentina Febo and Daniela Arzu, students of the Ph.D. course in Management of the Department of Management, have won those related to scientific articles.

Valentina Febo won "The Prof Michael McKenzie Best Paper Award" award for the article "Convexity of CFO Compensation, Risk-Taking, and Corporate Hedging."

Daniela Arzu won the "The Paper with the Most Potential Award" award with the study on "Ethnicity and Cross-Border Lending: Evidence from the Syndicated Loan Market."
