Software with Campus licenses

STATA SE Campus License

Following an agreement with TStat, the University has activated the Stata SE Campus license. Professors, researchers, research fellows, technical and administrative staff, PhD students, post-doc, and all students enrolled in degrees can install the Stata SE application on their computers and follow online training courses free of charge.

To install the software on your computer, please refer to the portal for the University of Bologna. The software is available for different operating systems.

MATLAB Campus License

Following an agreement with MathWorks, the University has activated the MATLAB Campus license. Professors, researchers, research fellows, technical and administrative staff, PhD students, post-doc, and all students enrolled in degrees can install the MATLAB and Simulink applications on their computers and follow online training courses free of charge.

To install the software on your computer, please refer to the portal for the University of Bologna. The software is available for different operating systems.

TradingView (Department agreement only)

A leading platform for traders, investors, and financial market researchers. It offers analytical tools to improve their ability to analyze market data from major stock exchanges and leading international financial data providers.

DISA has entered into an agreement exclusively for its students.

Professors of the Department of Management courses who wish to adopt TradingView in their courses can contact Prof. Marcello Mariani (marcello.mariani@unibo.it) to activate licenses for themselves and their students.

Qualtrics (only for the Department of Management)

Software to create and manage on-line surveys.

For DiSA members only (Faculty, Staff, Ph.D., Research fellows and students)

Grammarly Premium (only for the Department of Management)

Copy editing software, English language.

For DiSA members only (Faculty, Staff, Ph.D., Research fellows), and Graduating students with a DiSA member as a thesis Advisor.

How to request the software:

  • Faculty, Staff, Ph.D., Research fellow: write an email to anna.muraro@unibo.it.
  • Graduating students (in the process of their thesis writing): fill out the Grammarly Premium form.
