On April 14, in the Farnese Chapel of Palazzo d'Accursio, the seventh edition of the Bologna Ambassador Awards was held, promoted by the Bologna Convention Bureau to highlight the personalities who contribute to the growth of the destination through major international events.
Fifteen new Ambassadors were awarded, protagonists from the academic, medical, scientific, business, and institutional worlds who have distinguished themselves by bringing high-profile congresses and events to the city, thus benefiting the city's economy and reputation. Among them are Emanuele Padovani and Paola Canestrini, researchers at the Department of Management for the IRSPM Conference 2025.
The Conference brought more than a thousand public management scholars worldwide to Bologna in 36 panels that addressed the most pressing public governance challenges, including digital transformation, civic participation, ethics, and sustainability, offering reflections on AI, equity, and public value, balancing theory and practice.
