The Teach-BEAST project is primarily focused on “stimulating innovative practices in learning and teaching”. Academic institutions should adapt their university offer to the real requirements of the labor market. In order to achieve this goal, academic teachers must continuously improve their professional competencies. To that end, they need to constantly search for new teaching methods, improve their curricula, arouse their students’ imagination and interests, and help students produce interesting and attractive work. The objective of the project is to support teachers in the planning of subject content based on professional identities related to the field of study (career canvases) taking into account current labor market requirements. The project will shape the teachers' skills in the field of using techniques, methods, and tools to build up students' awareness of the necessity of continuous discovery of current interests, possible connections with passion, and their relations with the labor market requirements while teaching vocational subjects. Finally, the collaboration will focus on the preparation of teachers of STEM subjects to switch to the project model of student education with the use of DT framework. This train-the-trainer workshop will shape the ability to profile the provided content in relation to the field of study, in which the subject is taught.
