Objective
MOBILITI aims to analyze the determinants and impact of mobility in the Italian academic context. The research is divided into the following sub-objectives:
- Mapping of mobility within the Italian university system by analyzing the incoming and outgoing flows of universities and identifying dominant patterns and factors, using semantic publishing techniques.
- Comparative profiling of Italian academics, by identifying inter-individual differences that can explain the tendency to reach a certain level and type of mobility (also in relation to best practices in the EU and worldwide).
- Identification of contextual dimensions capable of capturing the institutional effect on mobility dynamics.
- Assessment of the impact of mobility in terms of scientific productivity and knowledge transfer for all levels of analysis adopted.
